Curriculum Vitae

Studied chemistry at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen, graduated with a Doctorate in 1991. PhD project: Hydridotripyrazolylborate complexes of titanium. Internship in an American law firm for education in US patent law in 1993.

Since 1995 admitted as a German patent attorney and European Patent and Trademark Attorney since 1996.

Member of INTA (International Trademark Association) and ECTA (European Communities Trademark Association).

Joined Prinz & Partner in 1991.

Professional Activity

Active in the entire field of intellectual property with a particular focus in the areas of inorganic and organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials and mechanical engineering.

Preparation of patent and utility model applications. Examination, opposition and appeal proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Federal Patent Court and the European Patent Office, supervision of foreign patent grant proceedings.

Advising on trademark strategies and unfair ­competition. Trademark searching. Supervision of national and international trademark portfolios.
