„Juggling Life’s Rush Hour“

Background

We conducted interviews about a phenomenon called Life Sucks Disease and noticed something interesting. For women, between the ages of 27 and 32 there are a lot of changes happening in their lives, a lot of decisions to be made and a lot of stressors.

Problem

For the women, the pressure to live their lives according to societal expectations and act within gender confines could become crippling or paralyzing to the point of physical or mental illness. We want to help.

Actual Challenge

How can we help women of this age to better cope with the pressure of societies expectations and their own expectations in the following area?

The most important aspect we got as feedback was:
Always being available for others while juggling many different aspects of their lives like family, friends and work.
„There are always 15 messages on my phone waiting for a reply“
“If I’m not available for family and friends I feel guilty”
“I will always apologize if I don’t have time to help someone or if I can’t be present at a certain moment”
“If I take time for myself, I feel selfish”
