Dr.-Ing. Rudolf Marka

Rudolf Marka has more than twenty-five years of experience in the medical device industry. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University Darmstadt and he completed his doctorate in engineering at the University Institute for Machine Tools and Manufacturing Technologies in cooperation with a Californian defense, automation and electronics company.
Subsequently he found his way into medical industry. In a senior management position, he was responsible for Research & Development for two German tech companies. Both companies are market leaders offering highly innovative products for operating rooms and intensive care units in hospitals. As such, he has extensive international experience in the clinical sector.
In between, he worked as management consultancy in medical and non-medical business, particularly offering services for innovation strategies and their implementation into marketable products. Today he puts his focus in a Munich based start-up adressing Predictive Analytics in healthcare.
